It is a place where art practice and study can actively interact in the Regional Gallery, with a changing exhibition program of international standard; and where visitors to the region can experience the wealth of local and regional creativity displayed in the Community Gallery. It is a complete resource for the whole community.

Community Gallery (can be hired) has 50 Running Metres. Regional Gallery has 450 Sqyare Metres and 150 Running Metres.
Hazelhurst is the result of a bequest left to benefit the community of the very beautiful Sutherland Shire. Just north of Gymea Bay and the Royal National Park the region offers a coastal park of dramatic cliffs, seculded beaches, scrub and lush rainforest in the oldest gazetted national park in the world.
